    • Provides services for those affected by mental health, their friends and family members.

  • Foundry Penticton Office
    • Offers young people age 12-24 access to mental health services and substance use support, primary care, peer support and social services.
    • Walk in services are Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00pm – 5:00pm.
      • These walk in services include: primary care, counselling, access and intake, youth navigation and peer support.
    • The services listed are also available by appointment.

  • Child Youth and Mental Health Penticton
    • There are many chapters across all of B.C. Those living in Cawston, Hedley, Keremos, O’lalla, Oliver, Osoyoos, and Princeton can access this chapter.
    • Children and youth can access free community-based mental health supports and services.
    • In order to access the services for free, there is an intake process that includes a 45-90 minute interview (which gets some background information from the youth and family) and then they are directed to the services that will best fit their needs. Youth 13+ are encouraged here to have their guardians present during the interview.

  • Okanagan College Counselling Services
    • This is for students of the college in Penticton. The counsellor can help students with personal, academic, or social issues that students may be struggling with.
    • Sarah Lefebure Warriner is the counsellor on this campus.

  • Okanagan Clinical Counselling Services
    • Provide individual, couples, children, family, and group counselling.
    • They offer a free 20 minute consultation to make sure you get matched with a clinician that best suits what you need.
    • They specialize in the following areas: “depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance use, difficult life transitions, trauma, grief, divorce, sexuality and more.”
    • They offer workshops, specialty counselling services and subsidized counselling programs. They offer a variety of different approaches such as EMDR trauma therapy.

    • The main office is located in Kelowna but they do offer online counselling for the areas surrounding.
    • Online therapy is a useful tool that can be done wherever you are and especially with the COVID-19 pandemic, it can keep you and the counsellor safe.
    • They offer services for individuals, children, teens, adults, families, couples, and they offer group problems. Additional services are behavioural consultation, occupational therapy, and autism services.

    • This center offers acute emergency services, doctors offices, labs, X-Ray, physio, chiropractors, public health services, mental health services, drug and alcohol counselling, social work services, homes support, long-term care /home care services and more.
    • This is an all in one center when it comes to health and mental health services.

    • Micheala Slipp is a counsellor, educator, clinical supervisor and an art therapist.
    • She specializes in virtual therapy so everyone can have access to services.
    • Her therapy focuses on trauma and works mostly with those who work in professions that work with trauma, for example, caregivers, first responders or other medical personnel, teachers, physicians, nurses, support workers, social workers, and therapists.
    • The approaches used are a blend of feminist ethics with somatic experiencing trauma therapy, art therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy.
